Greenwich

Located at New York City's doorstep, Greenwich is suburban. As such, most of Greenwich's 13.7 miles of the Atlantic Circuit Trail are currently roadwalk. Future plans include a 4-foot-wide footpath along the Merritt Parkway between Round Hill Road and the Stamford town line, relocating virtually all existing roadwalks onto off-road trail. Currently, the 1.6 miles of off-road trail traverse wooded terrain and wetlands through Mianus River Park, straddling the border with Stamford.
